The video works without analytics. Playback measurement is optional and starts only after you choose to allow it.

What is measured

For a shared concept link, consenting creates a random session for this page visit. I can see that a session started, whether there were at least five seconds of foreground playback, the parts played, and 25%, 50%, 75% and 90% coverage milestones. Times are recorded by the server. Rewatching the same section does not increase coverage.

What is not measured

The application does not collect your name, email, IP address, exact location, full browser user agent, referrer, or a recording of your screen. It does not use advertising pixels or fingerprinting. There is no cross-site identifier.

Your choice

Choose “Watch without analytics” to watch without sending playback activity. If you allow analytics, you can turn it off under the player at any time; new measurement stops immediately. Your choice and analytics session are held in memory for this page visit, not a persistent tracking cookie. Withdrawal does not automatically erase events already received.

Who can see the data

The dashboard is private to Luca, the developer of this concept. A forwarded link can record activity against that link, but it cannot identify who watched. No tracked activity does not necessarily mean a video was not seen.

Storage and retention

Application playback records are stored in Cloudflare D1 and deleted after 90 days. Vercel hosts the website and media; Cloudflare provides infrastructure, security and owner authentication. Their operational, network and security logs are separate from the minimal playback analytics described here and may include IP addresses and request metadata.

Owner previews

The owner’s authenticated preview never sends playback analytics. A signed, secure, HttpOnly browser cookie keeps the owner’s normal share-link views excluded for up to 30 days. This cookie does not authorize access to the dashboard.

Questions or deletion requests

Email hello@lucajz.dev with the concept link and approximate time of your visit. Because no personal identity is attached to playback records, identifying a particular session may not be possible.
